It’s not magic. It’s truly just the adoption of small good habits, that lend to big results. Small changes along the way create a healthy lifestyle, that is not only more manageable, but more permanent. Hence the title of this blog.

My name is Krista and I have been involved in “fitness” in some capacity most of my life. I was a competitive athlete growing up, a competitive coach after college and a competitive bodybuilder for 6 years. I’ll be hitting the stage again for the 2018 season on June 9th!

When it comes to my personal journey, I often say, I wish I knew then, what I know now about health and fitness. I wouldn’t have gone hungry or subjected myself to hours of cardio in an effort to lose weight. I would have talked to myself differently, loved my imperfections and praised my successes. Unfortunately, that isn’t what I did, and I am sure I’m not alone.

Women, and men, have a very specific view of themselves. Sometimes that view comes with a very high expectation. One they may never meet – but will struggle endlessly trying.

My goals are entirely different today than they were 10 years ago. My expectations have changed since my first fitness competition in 2012. I have met a lot of competitors, changed the shape of my body and ultimately transformed my thoughts.

However, health and fitness is defined differently by everyone. Even personal trainers and coaches have their own opinions on what is and isn’t best when it comes to training.

At the end of the day, it is your health and your body. What you do with it is up to you. I am here to tell you that it won’t take any extreme measure to get where you want to be. In fact, extreme measures ultimately lead to extreme rebounds and irreversible damage. Whether you are looking to lose weight, gain muscle, change your daily habits or snag a little daily motivation – I will help you get fit, one little bit at a time.
